2. Automatic Progression Based on Criteria

Instead of subjective decisions, notes evolve automatically when they meet specific, measurable criteria.

Criteria:

1. Idea:

   • Minimum: 1 supporting reflection or insight.
   • Status: Tagged #idea.

2. Seed:

   • Minimum: Core insight + 2 connections (e.g., supporting references or related notes).
   • Status: Tagged #seed.

3. Sprout:

   • Minimum: Core insight, 3 connections, and 1 practical example.
   • Status: Tagged #sprout.

4. Evergreen:

   • Minimum: Core insight, 3+ connections, 2+ practical examples, and integration with an MOC.
   • Status: Tagged #evergreen.

Automation:

• A script or Dataview query counts completed fields in the template and updates the note’s tag automatically.
